Reports indicate that at least 383 buildings, 13 hospitals, 25 shopping centers, and 1,002 other structures sustained damage, with tens of thousands of individuals still listed as missing.<\/p>\n<p>Emergency responders from around the globe are currently supporting local search efforts, with personnel from European Union nations deployed to the most heavily impacted regions. According to the European Commission\u2019s Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations department, more than 520 rescuers from the EU have been mobilized, with contributions from the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, and Luxembourg.<\/p>\n<p>Spain has dispatched 59 military personnel from its Military Emergency Unit, accompanied by two army engineers and eight canine units. Italy is participating through the deployment of air force assets and personnel from the civil protection department, fire brigade, and the ministries of defense and foreign affairs.
